Refund Policy

Effective: October 24, 2026

Swoopen web subscriptions are sold and processed by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all web orders. This policy explains refunds and cancellations for those purchases. Purchases in the App Store or Google Play follow the store's rules — see the last question.

Which purchases does this policy cover?

Subscriptions and one-time purchases made on swoopenai.com, in a desktop or mobile browser. Paddle.com processes the payment and is the Merchant of Record. Purchases made in the App Store or Google Play are not covered here.

What is Paddle's refund policy?

Unless required by applicable law, transactions are non-refundable. Paddle may, at its discretion, approve a refund for requests submitted within 14 days of the transaction date. Every request is reviewed individually — based on the product, the reason and how much of it you used — and may be approved in full, approved in part, or declined. A refund granted once does not mean later requests will be granted.

Do I have a statutory right to withdraw?

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, Switzerland or the UK, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a transaction for any reason and receive a full refund of the charges paid. This applies to one-off purchases and the first payment of a subscription; it does not apply to later renewal payments. A new 14-day period starts when a free trial ends, and UK annual subscriptions also get a new 14-day period at each annual renewal. The right does not apply to digital content you started downloading, streaming or using during those 14 days if you agreed to waive it. Consumers in Turkey and Israel also have a 14-day withdrawal right.

What other local rights apply?

Consumers in South Korea, Brazil, China and Canada have a 7-day unconditional right to cancel. Consumers in Singapore have 5 days from delivery or first access. If local law or an offer from Swoopen gives you stronger rights, the stronger rights always apply.

How do I request a refund?

Email [email protected] with the email address on your account and the approximate date of the charge; we reply within 2 business days. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, Switzerland or the UK exercising your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (see above), say so in the email and we will process it as a withdrawal — you may also use the withdrawal button in the Paddle Customer Portal if you prefer, reached from the "Manage subscription/transaction" link in your Paddle receipt email. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible, usually within 14 days of approval.

What if the product does not work?

Contact Swoopen support first at [email protected] so we can try to fix it. If that does not resolve it, contact Paddle support at paddle.net with the details and our reply. If there is evidence of a material defect, Paddle will refund you under consumer protection law.

How do I cancel? Does cancelling refund me?

Cancel at any time from the Paddle Customer Portal ("Cancel subscription") or at paddle.net. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and stops future charges. It does not by itself refund the current period — for that, submit a refund request using the steps above.

What happens after a refund?

When Paddle approves a refund, the money is returned to your original payment method and the subscription is cancelled so it will not renew. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you already paid for, then returns to the Free plan. Content you already created remains subject to our Terms of Service.

What about generations that fail?

Credits consumed by a failed, rejected or timed-out generation are automatically returned to your balance. This is a credit adjustment, not a monetary refund.

Should I contact Paddle before a chargeback?

Yes. Please contact Paddle before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer; direct contact usually resolves things faster. During a dispute, access may be temporarily suspended while it is reviewed. Nothing here limits your right to dispute a charge under card-scheme rules or consumer protection law.

How do I cancel or get a refund for a PayPal subscription?

If you subscribed with PayPal, PayPal processes the payment. You can stop future charges at any time from your PayPal account (in your automatic payments settings, find Swoopen and cancel); the plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your account email and the date of the charge — we reply within 2 business days. If a refund is issued, the subscription ends and the credits from that billing period are removed.

How do I get a refund for an App Store or Google Play purchase?

Apple: request it at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple processes and decides those refunds, and we cannot issue them ourselves. Google Play: within 48 hours of purchase, request it from your order history in Google Play; after 48 hours, email [email protected] and we will help.
