FAQ

Common questions about Swoopen — the free AI photo-to-video generator for TikTok, Reels and Shorts creators.

What is Swoopen?

Swoopen is a free AI photo-to-video generator built for TikTok, Reels and Shorts creators. Upload one photo, pick an effect, and the AI turns it into a 4-second cinematic clip in about a minute. Available on iOS, Android and on the web at swoopenai.com — no signup needed to try it.

Is Swoopen free to use?

Yes — you can generate videos on the free tier without paying. Free users get a limited amount of credits per period. If you generate a lot, upgrade to Pro (weekly, monthly or yearly) for more credits, longer reels, faster queue priority and watermark-free downloads. Full pricing at /pricing.

What image formats and sizes does Swoopen accept?

JPG, PNG, HEIC and WebP work. Any aspect ratio is fine — square, portrait or landscape. Very small images (under 512×512) may produce blurry results; at least 1080×1080 is recommended. Faces and clear subjects animate best.

How long does it take to generate a video?

Most videos finish in about a minute. Free-tier and peak-hour queues can add a short wait; Pro subscribers get priority queue and typically see results faster. If a task takes more than 5 minutes we automatically release your credits and let you retry.

Can I use Swoopen videos commercially?

Yes — Pro plans include a commercial-use license, so you can post Swoopen-generated videos on TikTok, Reels, Shorts, YouTube, ads or any channel that earns you money. Free-tier videos are for personal use only; upgrade to unlock commercial rights.

Are my uploaded photos used to train AI models?

No. We do not use your uploaded photos to train any AI model. Images are sent to the third-party AI provider only for the specific generation you requested and are deleted shortly after. See our Privacy Policy for the full data-handling policy: /legal/privacy.

My generation was rejected by content policy — what can I do?

Content policy checks are enforced by the third-party AI provider (Google Vertex or partners), not by Swoopen alone. If your prompt or photo was rejected, the credits are refunded automatically. Try softening the wording, using a different reference photo, or picking another effect. For repeated false-positives, contact support at /help/support.

What's the difference between the Swoopen app and the web version?

The iOS and Android apps have the full immersive Discover feed, one-tap effect creation, camera capture and offline drafts. The web version (swoopenai.com) is best for signing in, managing your account, browsing effect templates, checking billing, and quick generation from your desktop. Both share the same account and credits — sign in once, use anywhere.
